I’ll be the first to say that I was never a Johnny Cash fan — that is until I heard his cov­ers from the Soli­tary Man albums. While I still can’t get quite into his older albums, I have noth­ing but deep-found respect for the man in black.

Q. Will This Site Work in my Browser?

A. Good ques­tion moron. I don’t know. Try it. I heard it busts wide open in IE 6. I haven’t even dicked around with Safari. I’m not about to.

A. Hell no. It works in the lat­est Opera, Fire­fox, and even (cough) IE. That’s all that matters.

Q. Is the CSS valid?

No — I don’t have any stock in Microsoft or Yahoo! I’m also not stu­pid enough to buy stock in either one while their prices are inflated. The time to have done (in the early 90s if you had spare cash, fore­sight, or just got plain lucky) so has long since passed. So my inter­ests don’t lie there. Recently it’s been reported in the news that Microsoft has been try­ing to acquire Yahoo and has put out their offer.

But why am I inter­ested at the moment in whether or not Yahoo should sell to Microsoft? Let me lay out a few rea­sons for you:

Hope­fully I am clos­ing in on the last of the more tech­ni­cal posts for this blog. I wanted to steer away from these top­ics as they tend to bore the aver­age reader. On the other hand, I will add that technically-related writ­ings tend to bring in a large reader base — espe­cially if you write about some­thing obscure or unusual. With the past two weeks of fid­dling with this web­site, web­site setup and instal­la­tion has been fore­most on my mind so it is an eas­ier topic for me to hit upon.
