Q: Why do you have the name Mightyfunk?
A: Because every singular word for domain names in the english language has already been taken or put on market for exorbitant prices. I went down a list of names that sounded catchy, but all of them had been nabbed. Then I went down two-word domain names and this suddenly popped into my head for no apparent reason whatsoever. I was actually surprised that it was available. I was even more surprised that the .net and mightyfunky.com was available which I quickly registered.
This wasn’t my first choice as I had a few more dot com names I could have chosen from, but when I read the list of new domains to friends, they all laughed when I said ‘mightyfunk.com.’ So mightyfunk was it.
Q: Does this site have anything to do with funk?
A: Beats the shit out of me. Your guess is as good as mine. Maybe it will. Maybe it won’t.
