I just added a new domain and parked it on top of my www.lunarstudio.com web­site. It’s called www.architecturalrenderings3d.com. The whole point of this is to see if it has any influ­ence on the Bing search engine key­word rel­e­vancy which I spec­u­late it does. As to whether or not their seach engine detects parked/masked domains and down­ranks you for dupli­cate con­tent — that I’m not so sure. By mak­ing a link appear here, hope­fully it will trig­ger the major search engines to pick it up. I’ll get back in a few days to see if it has helped for any of the engines.

I recently posted an arti­cle on Google’s new beta ser­vice called Knol. It’s actu­ally a fairly good web­site and looks promis­ing, assum­ing that users main­tain a higher level of qual­ity and rat­ings regard­ing sub­jects. I try to describe my line of work to the gen­eral com­mu­nity, called archi­tec­tural ren­der­ings. What­ever extra traf­fic and busi­ness “atten­tion” I receive for Lunarstu­dio is of course, highly wel­come espe­cially in this cur­rent econ­omy, but I think my post actu­ally con­tains a mes­sage that many read­ers could poten­tially use.

I’m test­ing with my sytem to see if I can get PageR­ank back onto my main web­site by post­ing the fol­low­ing links. Recently, I changed some of my folder names then a few pages dropped from PR4 to 0 or unavail­able. I need to fig­ure out if there’s some way I can repair that. I hate to “scar” my blog like this (although, I really should redo this web­site) but I need to see if I can get the back­links rolling again.

I’d like to men­tion that I have recently made a major web­site update to my Archi­tec­tural Ren­der­ings com­pany web­site, Lunarstu­dio. The over­all look and feel has stayed the same, but many of the images, as well as new ones have been updated. Sev­eral new cat­e­gories have been added includ­ing Sketchup Mod­el­ing Ser­vices and Cus­tom 3d Mod­el­ing Ser­vices.

I just wanted to apol­o­gize if any­one ever checks in here. My inten­tions when I set up this blog was to keep the con­tent fresh but my busi­ness has taken full atten­tion away from post­ing. Plus, it’s been much eas­ier to post to sites such as Face­book and Twit­ter (although admit­tedly, I have yet to set up an account there) where I know some of my clos­est as well as long lost friends reconnect.

I’ll try to be bet­ter about this from now on, although now that I look at this blogs setup and design, I’m half-tempted to change things around or rebuild it from scratch.
