The Vigneron Centenary Wine

Ben Cor­ban, a copy­writer work­ing with The Alt Group in Auck­land, New Zealand, had the priv­i­lege of involv­ing his col­leagues in an award win­ning design project focus­ing on the 100 years of Najib Cor­ban, his grand­fa­ther. The Vigneron project was ded­i­cated to the life and work of Najib Cor­ban, one of New Zealand’s wine indus­try pio­neers who lost his sight as a child yet went on to live a full life grow­ing grapes for the wine indus­try. Oak­field Press pub­lished a 100-page book with pho­tographs of Najib’s tools and poetry, released in con­junc­tion with a lim­ited edi­tion mag­num, dipped in black­board paint and hand num­bered in an edi­tion of one hundred
