Long Tran (LT) gave us an in-depth review on the Carga Bags and it turns out his bag was the scene stealer at most occa­sions. The ques­tion is: do you want to be in the lime­light as well? Appar­ently LT car­ried his iPhone, wal­let, check­book, pen, pen­cil, graph paper, Nin­tendo DS, Nikon D40, Sigma 30mm lens, Nikkor 55mm lens, lap­top and a book in his bag.

I really love these hand-cast planters by Kelly Lamb . It’s quite an inter­est­ing mix of mate­ri­als and tex­tures; they’re cast in con­crete for an indus­trial feel but have a smooth fin­ish to go well in inte­ri­ors, and of course adding in plants gives it the final touch.

Being a suc­cess­ful free­lance designer has a lot to do with per­se­ver­ance and sheer deter­mi­na­tion, not to men­tion tal­ent. There are 3 things that I have found tend to cause free­lance design­ers to stum­ble, how­ever, despite an iron will to suc­ceed.
